| Designer and Owner Comments: |
| Designer Comments: The Elementary School is designed to by a high-quality, low-maintenance institutional facility with a small schoolhouse appearance. Grade levels K-1, 2-3, 4-5 are housed within their own grade-level home corridor minimizing the interaction between the younger kindergarten children and the older children. Both the administration and media center facilities are centrally located between the grade level houses and the gymnasium/cafeteria facilities located for minimum disruption of classrooms and maximum accessibility by the public after hours. To conclude, finishing within this facility were selected to reduce operating and maintenance costs. |
