| Designer Comments: The Elementary School is the fifth prototype completed in this school district. It is a PK-5, 650 student, one story elementary school. The most recognized feature of the school is the ability to stand in one location and monitor the activities of all academic wings. The rotunda that anchors the pinwheel design accesses the administrative offices and media center. The gym and dining areas are located such to minimize noise and traffic and make accessible to public after hours. The configuration of this school makes it easy to separate car loading from bus loading and play areas. |
