| Designer and Owner Comments: |
| Designer Comments: The Middle School is organized into three grade "houses" each comprised of a cluster of core classrooms. The two-story structure is designed to serve 950 students in grades 6, 7 and 8. Windows in each classroom fill the school with natural light. A basic voice, data, and video distribution system is incorporated throughout the building, which is capable of future expansion to handle more media distribution hardware. There is also a Technology 2000 lab. The gymnasium, auditorium, and media center are accessible to the public for after hour's use, while the academic sections of the school remain secured. |
