| Designer and Owner Comments: |
| Designer Comments: The administrative offices are prominently located at the main entrance to have good supervision of all visitors entering the facility. The grade levels are broken down into smaller "houses" comprised of two grade levels each. The Gymnasium, Stage, and Dining Room are located so they may operate after hours for community use, while the academic portion of the building is secured. Natural daylighting is a feature in all classrooms. Energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and recycled content has been taken into consideration in the selection of building systems and materials. The Elementary School is a LEED 2.0 Gold Certified building. |
