Designer Comments:  The site in the county is rolling farmland. The main support spaces of the school are planned as a "back bone." The three, K-1, 2-3, 4-5 classroom wings branch out from the "back bone" in plan and step down the slope in section. The plan and section concept could easily be adapted to various site conditions. Unique features include: special media center reading room, theater with adjoining art spaces, community use gym/multi-purpose room with stage.
