| Designer and Owner Comments: |
| Designer Comments: This school is organized as a radial plan with the Administrative area and Media Center being toward the center and the classroom wings, K-1, 2-3, and 4-5, extending out from the center. Each classroom wing contains group restrooms and a teacher work area. Another, larger wing contains the Kitchen, Dining/gym/multipurpose area, and the stage. This area is subdividable allowing for a diversity of functions without creating additional dedicated area. The main entrance is covered by a large canopy adjacent to the student pick-up/drop-off which allows for supervision of this activity. |
