| Designer and Owner Comments: |
| Designer Comments: This LEED Certified school for 720 students was the first elementary school in this school district to earn certification and the second in the State. The design team worked closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop a school that incorporates the latest education standards, state of the art technology, and sustainable design considerations. Our goal was to create a high performance learning environment. The Elementary School is located in a natural wooded setting. Special care was being taken to preserve much of the existing terrain. The site was planned with access to public transportation and the regional greenway. The school offers numerous learning and recreational amenities. All classrooms are filled with natural light. |
