Designer and Owner Comments:
Designer Comments:  The Middle School is designed with four wings (one each for sixth, seventh and eighth grade levels and one for vocational education) connected at a central area. The central area houses the Media Center, gymnasium, cafeteria, and administrative areas.
Owner Comments: The design is very applicable for the middle school both administratively and academically. Each wing's design includes the classrooms and restroom facilities for one grade level with room to handle increases to our present 506 student enrollment. The cafeteria design includes three serving lines capable of feeding and seating an entire grade level. The school building interior is open, bright, and aesthetically pleasing. A focal pint of the design is the center of the "X" shape where a staff member can stand and view the majority of the school activities outside the classrooms. Paul R. Payne, Principal
