Designer and Owner Comments:
Designer Comments:  The Intermediate School is a 5/6 public school that provides a sustainable forum for teaching. The building itself teaches sustainability, utilizing the water, solar and self-awareness features that are designed into the school. Special features include water collection systems, a diversity of outdoor teaching spaces, energy displays, solar hot water, daylit classrooms and an array of electrical and mechanical energy conservation systems. The school's "You are Here" theme transitions students from the solar system to their classroom where they are again reminded that "You are Here".
