SB 914 - Additions & Revisions Effective January 1, 2002
Section 11.1c (GS58-31-40) The Commissioner shall review a plan within 30 days of submission provided that the Commissioner may require one additional 30-day extension if necessary to complete the review. If the plans have neither been approved nor denied during the initial 30 day period, the owner may proceed with site preparation, foundation and structure that are not subject to DoI inspection. If neither approved or denied within 60 days, the Owner may request review and final approval by DoA - State Construction Office in accordance with rules adopted by the State Building Commission.
